When comparing products, very rarely is the cheaper product the better choice. This can’t be said about all plate compactors.

Among Bartell’s line of forward compactors, our BCF1570—one of the smallest and most economical models in our fleet—packs a serious punch that contractors across the world are starting to notice.

Understanding the Differences

On the surface, these machines are fairly similar in specifications but there’s a few important things to note:

  1. Highest compaction force goes to Bartell with 3461 lbs. compaction force.
  2. Throttle control mounted on Bartell handles offers the operator better control. Our competitor’s users must reach down to the engine to control the throttle.
  3. Competitor B’s water tank is fixed to the unit so the operator has to bring the machine to the water source. Both Bartell and Competitor A units have slip on tank allowing the operator to bring only the tank to the water source.
  4. Wheel kit is standard on Bartell and not available on Competitor A. Optional wheel kit is available for Competitor B at an additional cost.
  5. Bartell is the class leader with retail pricing that is 29% lower than Competitor A and 39% lower than Competitor B.

Economical Can be Better

As you can see, Bartell’s BCF1570 compactor has a leg up on the competition in at least 5 different ways.

When it comes down to it, if nothing else, the price alone should be appealing to contractors. With incredible service and reliability, you can stand behind your Bartell compactor.

Literally.
